RPM 2 LED
If you want your motorbike to look clean, a bulky tachometer is often not an option. However, sometimes you want to know whether you are driving in the correct speed range. In most cases, a 3-color LED is perfectly sufficient for this purpose. The RPM 2 LED module measures the speed from the ignition output and switches a 3-color LED between blue, green, yellow, and red depending on the speed. This allows, for example, visual control of the start and end of maximum torque or maximum speed, which should not be exceeded.
The three switching points can be easily set by the user. To do this, hold the gray cable against ground and then switch on the power supply to the module. When the green cable is removed from ground again, the module first flashes blue and counts up the speed by 500 RPM each time. When the first switching value is reached, hold the cable briefly against ground. The LED now flashes green and the module counts up by 500 RPM with each flash. As soon as the cable is held against ground again, the module flashes yellow and continues to count up the revolutions. When the gray cable is touched again, the LED flashes red briefly and saves the values. The gray cable can then be insulated and the RPM 2 LED is ready for use.
