Flasherbooster

Some new bikes have original led flashers what work with voltages between 6 - 9 Volt. This saves a bit money for the manufacturer, cause he have only one voltage converter in his flasher relay instead of 4 voltage converters in the indicators. However, this makes it a bit complicated to change the original indicators against nice aftermarket indicators, what might just glow a bit if connected to the original flasher relay with 8 Volt output.

The Flasherbooster is connected between original flasher relay and your aftermarket indicators. It increase the supply voltages from the original flasher relay to 12 Volt and allow you to use your choice of aftermarket flashers at your bike. An integrated loadequalizer with 0,8 Watt load takes care for the correct flasher frequency in the most bikes. However, it might happen that the flasher frequency is still  too high after the installation. In this case you´ll need to wire 2 resistors between the 2 inputs and ground.

It might happen, that you need to wire 2 additional resistors from the inputs to ground if the original flashers had a higher power consumption than 0,8 Watt, resulting that the flasher frequency is still too high after the install of your new indicators. For this case you´ll need to measure the current and voltage at one original flasher in order to calculate the correct resistor value. Just feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the measurement.
