Speed 2 Brake

The most bikes with bigger engines have a good negative acceleration when reducing the throttle what result in no need to use a brakeswitch. In this case is no brake switch activated and the following traffic can not see that the speed of the bike is reduced what could cause in dangerous situations. 

The Speed 2 Brake is an electronic brakeswitch what hang parallel to one of the original brakeswitches. The Speed 2 Brake have a speed sensor input what check a reduced speed and activate the brake light in case of a negative acceleration. The sensitivity is adjuatable by 10 steps. It can be adjusted by wiring the green cable to ground before switching on the main power. The number of flashes from 1 - 10 indicate the sensitivity. 1 flash indicate a high sensitive and 10 flashes indicate a low sensitivity. The corresponding value is stored in the module when removing the green cable from ground. An external led what can be wired to the violet cable and can be fixed with tape on the tank. This makes the adjustment of the sensitivity easy. You can remove the led after the adjustment of the required sensitivity.

Please note that the Speed 2 Brake is made for active wheel sensors what deliver a square wave signal to the speedo. Pure analog solutions with a coil will not work correct for this module.
